Treehouse Batukaru

The 100 square meter open living space on the ground floor invites you to enjoy a Bali vacation day chilling on the sun beds, dipping into the plunge pool for some refreshment, enjoying the sun setting over the rice fields, the sky turning reddish and maybe firing up the BBQ for dinner, or having a nice chat with friends on the sofa or lounge chairs. 

Following the spiral staircase to the upper area of the treehouse batukaru 4 living areas await our guests starting with a living and dining room furnished with a kitchenette and dining table seating 4 people. The bedroom is adjacent, featuring a king size bed and vanity table. Between the bedroom and living room area our guests find a separate shower and toilet.

Indulge in the inviting living room of Treehouse Batukaru, offering elevated views of the rice terraces. The sofa can also be extended into a 120×200 bed, extending the amount of total guests able to stay to up to 4. Last but not least a 16 square meter balcony overlooking the rice fields featuring 2 lounge chairs invites our guests to relax, unwind and truly slow down. Ideal for the first morning coffee, reading a book during the day or having a beverage watching the sunset – this is probably one of the most relaxing places our guests can find in Canggu. 

The treehouse batukaru is built from reclaimed and certified wood, giving it a warm and homey feel, as well as capturing carbon and ensuring the building is almost carbon neutral. The bathroom panels are made from up-cycled plastic waste and the floor of the lower area is rammed earth, a sustainable alternative to concrete. The electricity is mostly provided by Bali’s sun from a photovoltaic system on Studio Agung.
