Treehouse Lesung

Entering the Treehouse Lesung unit a corner spiral staircase leads up to the 43 square meter treehouse studio, which features a queen-size bed and a lounge sofa with an integrated working table at its back looking out into the rice fields. The glass facade opens to a balcony with 2 lounge chairs – a perfect spot for the first morning coffee, a read during the day or to watch the sunset over the rice fields in the evening, turning the sky dark red. Behind the living area is a small kitchenette next to which the bathroom unit is located with a toilet and shower. The treehouse studio interior is built from highest grade, certified hardwood, giving it a warm and homey feel. Both the carefully crafted facade elements and furniture feature a fusion of Balinese and Japanese elements. 

The highlights of the treehouse lesung downstairs area are the sundeck with 2 sunbeds and an umbrella next to the plunge pool – ideal for sunbathing, relaxing and enjoying a great time with friends or family. Additionally the area features a dining table with 4 seats and an outdoor kitchen island with sink. Ideal for a lunch, dinner or a BBQ next to the pool.

The treehouse lesung studio is built with a large focus on sustainability using certified woods that act as carbon storage and give the room a warm and homey feel. The bathroom panels are made from upcycled plastic waste collected in Bali, while the stilted treehouse setup means minimal foundations and a huge reduction in concrete required. The unit is mostly powered by Bali’s sun through a photovoltaic system installed on Studio Agung.
